Mothers Day: A Brief History
Mother's Day, as my partner periodically reminds me, is the type of holiday that needs to be celebrated everyday. I am inclined to agree.
Mother's Day was introduced by Anna Jarvis in 1908. However, the holiday did not become official until 1914. Jarvis created a committee and persisted in advocating for mother's day because she believed the country needed to recognize mothers' sacrifices.
Our Mother's Day Candle is an ode to Anna Jarvis. The tonka vanilla bean treat is 100% toxic free, cruelty free, and vegan. The quite and subtle profoundness of the Vanilla Bean candle is a continuous reflection how mothers play a profound role in our every day lives.
